I passed by Chinatown today and saw the Chinese Year Decoration which included a huge Mickey and Minnie mouse figurines in Chinese traditional clothings. I vaguely remembered similar figurines when I was 12. Then I realised that it’s the rat year after the CNY, and that makes me 24 this year!!! My goodness… That was such a shock!! I’m turning 24 soon!! SO OLD! I still remember those years when I was still a teen, my time seems to pass very slowly, going to school and for CCA, enjoying my days. Now, time seem to pass really fast.
Oh yes, on a related but a side note, I was recently confirmed for my job. That means I’m already 5 months odd into my job, nearly 6 months. Time really flies.
Went for a wake this evening, my granduncle’s wake. Don’t know him very well, I only meet him once a year during CNY. My aunt was telling me how he asked for a cup of coffee the few days before he passed away, and he really enjoyed the coffee ‘cos he had not been able to drink it for a long time.
Time flies. We take things for granted. But time does not allow us to do so. Something to learn, cherish everything that we have around us, cherish the people around us, and cherish the time we have.
you know, i had that deco and it had been hanging there every year since 12 years ago. like.. gosh, so old. and im born in the year of rat too!! but nononono, not 24…. as yet. oh well. u’re gonna b 24 like reeeeeeeal soon tho.

That is true!!
Though we Christians always talk about eternal life but I never quite think about eternity nor see things in the perspective of eternity.
That means I’m gonna be your friend for eternity! How scary! :p Hahaha
Have a great weekend too!
