He works in ways we cannot see

Since I was 'told' to get a blog, tada.. Here it is! Yeah!! I've actually been wanting to get a blog recently, I thought it would be a good place to write down experiences in my life and be reminded of what God has done for me whenever I feel weary and burned out or rebellious and refuse to serve Him. And well, He's definitely left a lot of things and lessons in me the past month that I ought to put down here… but I shall not write everything down at one go.

In any case, back to my post for today. I thought it was a good reminder to myself and to everyone who's having exams too, that God's really wonderful and He does works in ways which we can't see.

I found out last Wednesday (yes, that was some time ago.. but I only realised the lesson today… pardon me for being such a tortoise) from Jasmine that this JC classmate of mine had actually accepted Christ, recently I think. I was very happy for her and I thought it was really cool! Having not seen her for a very long time, the first thing I heard about her was that she's accepted Christ!! I didn't expected her to convert and guiltily, neither had I tried to talk to her about God when we were back in JC. However, through some other people whom she's gotten to know, she accepted Christ in the years after we graduated from JC.

I'm sure there are bound to be people in our lives, probably acquaintances or a little closer than acquaintances, or close friends, whom we'd never thought that they'll receive salvation, they can, when God works. We may not see how it is possible, but God has His ways. 在人看来也许是不可能的,但对于神,凡事都能够。

Given my limited knowledge of English worship songs, this song came to my mind, 'God will make a way':

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way He will make a way

By a roadway in the wilderness
He'll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade
But His word will still remain
He will do something new today.

And being very much 'trapped' in exams, my application of the lesson learnt: As everybody, including myself, gets freak out about exams and the tons of work which we cannot finish revising, let us be reminded that our lives are in God's hands, what better guarantee (+ chop) can we get about what's going to happen in our lives? We are children of God, what do we have to fear? Let us commit ourselves and our exams into God's hands and see the wonders that He does at this time, for God is good, all the time.
